Career development and coaching sessions

No two career development and coaching sessions are the same as everyone has slightly different interests and ideas, challenges or pressing issues they want to focus on. So, from the outset I’ll work with you to agree what is important for you to get from our time together.  The overall aim is that you’ll leave our session motivated and feel that it’s been time well spent – my job is to help you move forward in a positive way and more often than not this will include an action plan.

Job search – practical skills development and support

I combine my career development and coaching approach with the extensive experience I have of the more practical aspects of the job search and recruitment processes.  I regularly support people in their job search and this includes – developing job search plans,  advising on the types of roles that would be a good career step and fit with your experience and interests, reviewing CVs and job applications and practise interview sessions.  I’m also there at the end of the phone/email to support you while you’re going through an interview process.

Having managed numerous recruitment appointments, I advise clients on what they may experience in the interview process and guide them on what might be expected of them and how to approach each stage. I’m still connected to executive search through my wide network of headhunter contacts – this often comes in handy for my clients when they are at the stage of actively looking for their next career move.
